Tasks & Responsabilities
Under the authority of the Municipal Council, the Director General /Secretary-treasurer assumes the responsibilities of planning, organizing, directing, and co-ordinating. As well, with the co-operation of the team in place, she assumes control of the administration of the Municipality as well as other connected tasks.
- She attends Council meetings
- She receives and manages complaints or requests of citizens and is responsible for follow-ups on these issues.
- She prepares the services program
- She manages the information bulletins destined for the public.
- She manages and applies the By Laws of the Municipality
- She prepares the minutes of Council meetings
- She prepares and manages the annual budget She manages special projects

Tasks & Responsabilities
- Assists the functioning of the legal secretarial duties and of the municipal secretariat,
- Assists with Council Meetings, in preparing documents , in tending registrations, in managing and maintaining the filing system,
- Coordinates and assures the quality and translation of the content of documents, the direction’s correspondence, the website, of information and notices destined for the public,
- Welcomes visitors, receives calls, receives the mail and makes their reception official;
- Supervises the purchasing of supplies and equipement which have been authorised by Council or following the policy of delegation of expenses;
- Assists the Director General with his/her duties and replaces him/her in his/her absence.

Tasks & Responsabilities
- Carries out tasks related to the payroll and to the personnel files,
- Carries out tasks to claim taxes steming from various collection roles,
- Proceeds with the up dates of the evaluation role and operations ,
- Follows up treasury files,
- Carries out tasks of management of property and Accounts receivable;
- Prepares various financial reports and assists the Secretary-treasurer in preparing the annual budget.

Tasks & Responsabilities
- Responds to requests dealing with Construction, Zoning and Subdivision Rules and By Laws ;
- Issues permits and certificates in accordance to Town Planning By Laws;
- Inspects building to verify their conformity to the By Laws;
- Advises individuals who contrevene the By laws;
- Receives the complaints covered by the Nuisance By Law, advises individuals who contrevene this By Law;
- Inspects septic installations;
- Keeps up to date the technical data of the Municipal networks;
- Participates in the program of Health and Safety in the work place.
